Olympia’s largest Special Finance Department is looking for a very special person.
What is Special Finance? We help people with poor credit get approved to buy a car and start rebuilding their credit. Recent Bankruptcies, Repossessions, First Time Buyers, Military with Bad/No Credit…the list goes on. Our office is in the Olympia Auto Mall. This job does involve selling cars, but not the way you are probably thinking. No standing around outside. Almost all of our clients come to us from our various lead sources. Once we tell them how we are going to help, we setup an appointment for them to come see us.
We get customers from a variety of sources. We have a great website http://www.washingtonautocredit.com where people apply for auto loans. We do direct mail to target certain markets. We do promotions on Ft. Lewis. We even get sent business by other dealerships.
We get so many leads from various sources, that we need more people. Once you are properly trained, you can expect to make about $4000-$6000 per month (around $2000-$3000 while training). There is no cap on earnings. 401k, medical, dental, vision benefits available.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
EITHER: Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English), or Large amount of contacts on Ft. Lewis. Just got out of army and E-6+? Call Me.
Why? We are looking to be the only large franchised dealer in Olympia that helps the Hispanic community buy cars. Good credit, bad credit, bad SSN, etc.
We also do a lot already to reach the soldiers on Ft Lewis so that we can help them buy cars, but we want to do more. If you know, or can find out, when each unit is coming back, who to talk to in each unit’s chain of command, and can convince them to suggest soldiers come see us when thinking about buying a car, I want to talk to you.
Desire to control their own paycheck. You will need to work your book of business, generate referrals, and sell your customers on the benefits of improving their credit. There is a guaranteed income, but you are paid on commission, so you must be driven and ready to control your own paycheck.
Problem solving skills, persuasive personality, and enthusiasm.
Proven salespeople have opportunity to work their deals A-Z. You can do all the negotiations with the customer without someone looking over your shoulder. You can do all the paperwork. you can get paid on the backend, as well as the front end.
Computer skills: If you cannot write an intelligent sounding email (with proper spelling, capitalization, and punctuation) this job is not for you.
Phone skills: If you are personable on the phone, and able to get your point across without sounding pushy, you would do great.
Ability to learn: Lender guidelines, product knowledge, selling skills, computer programs, etc.
