Fireside Stops Originating Auto Loans
Fireside has become the next victim of the economy. It is too bad because just recently they had changed their lending structure to a more dealer friendly model…maybe that was one of the final straws.
One of the coolest bank reps I ever knew in the car business was a Fireside rep. He eventually stopped coming to see me because I did not send Fireside any business. They never seemed to do any of the loans I wanted them to, but I hate to see any more auto lenders go away.
I wish I could say that Fireside is the last lender stop doing business, but it probably won’t be.
