At WA Auto Credit, we are always looking to add new lenders that will help our customers get better auto loans so they can have more vehicle options or lower payments. With SmartWay Advisors, we have found a way to do both.

As of this writing, SmartWay only has one interest rate: 12.99% and one term: 60 months.

The vehicle they finance must have less than 60,000 miles and be 2006 or newer.

There are some unique requirements in the SmartWay program that you do not usually see in auto loan underwriting:

• Customer cannot have had a DUI in the last 3-years or a Felony conviction in the last 5-years.
• Customer must have had a job for at least a year or had no more than 2 jobs in the last 2 years with no more than a 60-day gap in employment.
• All judgement and tax liens must have been satisfied or released.

For many people with recent bankruptcies and other negative credit items, 12.99% is pretty good. It means that if you qualify, you will probably be able to look at better loan options than you would have without SmartWay.

Ineligible Vehicles

SmartWay is not interested in financing these types of vehicles: Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Cummer, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes, Oldsmobile, Porsche, Saab, Volvo, Vehicles with branded titles, 1-ton trucks, cargo vans, other commercial vehicles, or vehicles without air-conditioning.

Minimum Down Payment

At this time, the minimum down payment is must be greater or equal to the monthly payment on the car.  $0 Down is not an option.

Starter Interupt

If you do not make your payment, SmartWay will disable your starter. This is done remotely. There will be full disclosures for you to read before you buy the car. Make your payments on time and there should not be a problem.
